Chasing Dreams
That is what we say to our youngsters now. The free market has fallen to a shameless level where it is not even ashamed of showing, selling, and trading the dreams of humans. And some handful few shepherds are putting the humans to run in a rat race that makes only these shepherds the winners on the grave of those running in the race tricked by the shepherds.
So, in this post, we shall see the science and reality behind the claim of this cliche that if you chase your dreams, the dreams will take care of you.
Science: Devastation of Chasing Dreams
The human body functions in two primary states: work and rest. These states are driven by the Sympathetic and Parasympathetic nervous systems, respectively.
Whenever the body sees a physical threat(for example, a snake or a gunman), it creates autonomic stress and has three strategies to deal with the situation: fight, flight, and freeze.
Any fight pushes the body, governed by androgenic hormones Testosterone and Adrenaline. The body can sustain elevated Adrenaline for up to 72 hours. The body permanently shifts to sympathetic dominance mode when the fight continues for longer.
Body ages faster in the fight, and parasympathetic impairment sets in. Excess testosterone in men leads to prostrate growth, and in females, it destroys their ovaries. Suppose the fight continues for over five years. In that case, the negative action potential in cells leads to Ca++ ions entering the cells, kicking away two K- ions and then forming calcium oxide, resulting in microcalcification, leading to breast cancer and colon cancer, besides damaging coronary arteries.
Sleep and dream both stopped due to parasympathetic impairment. Not only sleep and dream stops, but along with them, the other functions of the body run by parasympathetic such as sex, digestion, and excretion, all become dead. Not only do they become dead, but along with them, the right emotional brain is inhibited, which is responsible for creating meaningful dreams.
So, dreams become nightmares, and whatever little you sleep, you see nightmares of snakes, killing, blasts, chasing.
So, before you start chasing, fighting, pushing, and “working hard” for your dreams, have the knowledge of the following inevitable consequences:-
1. Anxiety and Blood Pressure
2. Because success=1/Anxiety, low success in life, and collapse of most relationships in life.
3. Cardiac arrest elevated risk once a male cross 40 and a female crosses 30(yes, female cardiac risk will remain elevated and at a younger age)
4. Breast and ovarian cancer risks past 30 for females.
5. Prostrate enlargement for males after the age of 40.
6. Insomnia
7. Inevitable loneliness and depression after both cross 30(as cortisol and adrenaline start exhausting).
8. Acidity, unstoppable hairfall, dry-throat, and skin.
9. Inability to cry.
10. Finally, in 14 years, complete inhibition of consciousnesses and prefrontal cortex, with no serotonin absorption. This leads to Histamine overdrive, completely destabilizing the immunity system and then leading to autoimmunity.
At this stage, the awareness and consciousness end, and you are never ever connected to yourself. You will feel crushed, hollow, dead. But the inner depression won’t let you die early. You will suffer at least two decades with this misery.
Reality
Fighting for a dream kills the dream, and the dreamer in 7 years, no exception. If you want to understand the science behind dreams in-depth, you can follow the following article.
Conclusion
That is your warning sign when you see the first bunch of hairs in your comb. Remember this sign. Hairfall is not due to water or any such shit. It is your warning sign.
Inspirations, motivations, gyaan, and encouragement are all fine. Life is too precious to be cancerous and hollow. Take a pause, a break, and just look back at your life.
You can’t ever push a train to drive the train or chase a plane or move a wall by pushing. Life is yours; choices are yours, and consequences are yours too. Once you start suffering your consequences, do not advise others to follow your path and become dead like you.
