What Type of Innovation Succeeds to Become Successful Business?

Innovation and Success

Science Behind Business:- Need, Wants, Market, Product, Scale

Law:- We can't decide what we do; there is no free will; the brain autonomically decides.Readiness potential is a measure of activity in the motor cortex of the brain leading up to voluntary muscle movement.

Benjamin Libet invented BP. According to BP, our brain generates a readiness potential of at least 350 ms prior to us even becoming aware that the brain is taking action.
We only control “Free Won’t,” which requires significant diverse knowledge for the brain.

Need

Accordingly, there is no such thing called need. Once may at-max know what one doesn’t need. When everyone around you has something, your brain automatically wants it. This is called desire. Curtailing desire is knowing need.

The Top

There are top brains that generate exact desires that it needs in order to become successful in their pursuit. When it doesn’t find that desire, then the lack of that is the need for the top.

For example, Elon Musk would be pursuing an engine that may accelerate a rocket 10x with 10x less energy. Thus such a rocket would be his need. His brain doesn’t have time to compare Reebok and Nike.

The Average

For the average population they have not taken then brain to a level where it is in search of something that doesn’t yet exist. Thus Elon Musk will invent or acquire this exact thing that he “needs” that doesn’t yet exist.
On the other hand, common people wouldn’t need this invention because their brain hasn’t yet reached that level, and so will desire what others have.

Possible Business Solutions(If new product)

1. Identify the need for the top and build that.
2. Top survives on strong human relationships, and so only top refers a solution to others in top if their need is satisfied.
3. When this innovation makes life easy many on the top, the above-average in common people, take notice.
4. The desire is created.
5. Scale down the solution at this average desire level.
6. Finally, mass produces the solution when others desire, but don’t need, but use because the top uses.
7. The top’s need ends when everyone uses this product. Focus on scalability.

Alternative: Use People’s Habit

Because people’s understanding and patience for the top is less, their desire to reach the top in less time is high:-
1. Create an alternative to what people already desire in a different way.
2. Make people form the habit of this new change.

The paradox is that the average always desires what the top has or wants to have what others have; the moment the top uses something different, the average adopts that.

Therefore scientifically, either reach to top over 20-30 years’ time, understand what few on top strongly need but don’t have, create and satisfy the top, and then leave behind the company for your next generation to make rockets when every school children desire to launch their rocket.

or,
Play on people’s habits, and pray to God that people never stop drinking cold-drink.

Case Studies

1) Indian politicians and some top businessmen had Ambassador, then Fiat came to the top in those businesses. Then people desired a car. The car industry got created. Everyone wants to have a car. Top today owns car factories, they walk, and people buy a car.

2) Nokia’s first mobile phone in India came to India around 1988. Few in India had it. By 1998, the smaller phone came, and officers in those businesses used it. Then in 2003, everyone started desiring phones. Top stopped using(ex:- Dhoni doesn’t use a phone).

3) In 200 BCE, slaves brought from the Greeks to Rome were given administrative jobs, teacher jobs, and healthcare jobs. Citizens desired them. Public schools got open. Greeks stopped schooling and focussed on an apprenticeship under masters(like Plato).

4) Bypass surgery became successful in 1955. Few in the top had bypass surgery. People desired. People today have bypass surgery, the top-adopted alternative to holistic health. People desired. Today the top provides healthcare while living disease-free life in nature.

5) Narayan Murty created Infosys. Then in the 1990s, Mindtree was created by Infy veterans. Now everyone desires to create a software company. Top left software.
