What do I do when I feel hollow and empty after 10 hours of internet browsing (90% of the time I was window shopping and 10% was work)? I need to stop this.

Why Emptiness Increase?

Emptiness rises when there is no purpose in life and when you do not know why to get up tomorrow.

I can elaborate a complete mind setup of why you are going through this feeling, and how to regulate, but in your current state of mind, you wouldn’t get most of it. So here are the things you can do:—

Shortcut

Find a mentor and he takes care of the rest, from giving you the purpose to helping you walk in the path.

Self:—

  1. Make a list of 10 tasks that you can do daily, it may be triavial as cooking, making tea, watering plants, cleaning, etc. You have to do these ten tasks exactly at the same time, everyday for next 30 days, without fail and excuses.
  2. You make your bed, clean your room, keep the things in the room organised for next 30 days. This is beside the task(1).
  3. You get any book and read one story a day and tell that story to one person in life, for next 30 days, everyday without fail.
  4. You wake up at 6 AM(which will be the hardest part) and go for a 30 mins walk everyday, for next 30 days.
  5. You talk to one random person everyday for next 30 days in your morning walk. It may be Ricksawpuller, grocery shop, tea shop, doesn’t matter. It can be as trivial as asking time or something. But you talk to one person everyday.
  6. You go out of house in the evening before sunset for a walk and witness sunset everyday, for next 30 days.
  7. You take up something you liked ass a child, may be drawing, may be writing, may be making toys or anything. And you do this for 30 contineous days without fail for next 30 days.
  8. You go to bed before 10.30PM. You keep your mobile away from the bed. You may not get good sleep at first, but you do this nonetheless for next 30 days. (You may go to bed with a book. Reading before sleep would improve your sleep significantly).
  9. You are not going to eat any junk food for next 30 days. No matter how much craving you have, no biscuits, burgers, egg-rolls, pizzas. Cook it yourself some snacks if you feel hungry.
  10. In next 30 days, you will never utter “I am worthless”, “My life is miserable”, “No one understands me”, “No one loves me”, “I am good for nothing” and any such self-lowering talks.

Each one of these will challenge you and you will get bored in just about 2 to 3 days. You will feel these are useless and will pay no heed to this. You will not like boring repetitive tasks. All of these are beside your usual works.

But if you can invest 30 days of your life, with faith and religious belief, the changes you will bring into your life will be so impactful that you will not go through any loneliness, hollowness, depressive thoughts, etc.
