In last seven days, emergencies after emergencies have been knocking in, 24×7. Me, my team, and some hundreds like us have barely had any sleeps. Calls flooding-in from different parts of the country with a plea “save him/her please”. People are ready to loose their life’s earning on 5 doses of injection.
We took some of the most hopeless cases, where patient nearly had complete lungs failure and Spo2 below 60%. We are managing couple of patients at Spo2 32-38% at their home. Every minute’s life is an innovation and need 8-10 human support. It is not only dealing with emergency, but fear, tears, restlessness, hopelessness, anxiety.
Misinformation, lack of med, bed, Oxygen, ICU, and a situation & illness that was not taught in the books. Ambulance sirens, death-news, pure-chaos.
People just are looking to atleast talk to someone who can comfort them, cool them down.
Money≠Life, for the first time in decades.
It is courage, basic science, common-sense, nerves, human connection, & emergency-handling skills of few limited humans which is fighting a lost battle.
So my question is, where are the Secured, AI-Powered, Predictive, Preventive, FDA certified, XX-tech, Billion dollar guys? PPT, $$, Graphs?
When death knocks, you just need a human.
