Close your eyes, and try to visualize a red rose with a single green leaf. Focus on this one image for 30 seconds.

Start.

What did you see? Yes, random images, and thoughts, maybe a flower pot, maybe a rose garden. But your brain just couldn’t isolate the red rose with a green leaf for 30 seconds.

if you can’t hold onto the frame for 30 sec, you have overthinking problem.

Simple Explanation

  • Overthinking comes from our inner insecurities, that date back to early childhood memories that we don’t even remember in our aware brain.
  • When we start thinking about an incident, a lot of unconscious and subconscious brain is involved, and there are several memories that we are not aware of. Thinking is aware brain’s phenomenon.
  • Unconscious brain is infinitesimal, thus it is like searching for a blue piece of sand on a sea beach.
  • Overthinking is a phenomenon of a “quick brain.” The brain can’t handle information. The brain wants to understand the meaning and make sense of the world. It doesn’t want to know 11 healthy diets to get over diabetes. It wants to understand why it developed diabetes in the first place.
