The meaning of the word deserve is that “you absolutely should get XYZ, and the universe must conspire to get this XYZ, and God must and should and definitely would give you the XYZ.”
Bloody History of Deserve
The word “deserve” was first used in Rome, before Rome had become a republic, during the regime of Lucius Tarquinius Superbus in 534–509 BC, whose tyranny finally led Rome to become a republic in 509 BCE.
Superbus had become Roman king by slaughtering his predecessor Servius Tullius, who was also the father-in-law of Superbus. Servius Tullius was not from the elite bloodline and had a serious(slave) background.
In his speech to the Roman senate, Superbus claimed, “Rome deserves a better king than a slave,” before mercilessly murdering the aged popular king Tullius.
Thus, historically the word “deserve” became part of the public and political discourse in a political murder to justify the head of the state because people must have better than what they have.
Etymology
Deserve comes from the Latin word “deservire,” which means “serve well.” Interestingly the word deservire was used in old Latin as a term for JEALOUSY. In Roman Latin literature, jealousy was used in conjunction with envy to refer to the aggression of the slaves do not have what the elites had.

Theology of the word deserve
Every human has what they deserve: access to land, Oxygen, and water. Rest no one deserves anything else. It is then how one lives a life that one gets what he has and loses what he loses.
YES, EVERY CHILD DESERVE TO BORN WITHOUT ANY GENETIC AND METABOLIC DISORDER, and parents must be accountable for this.
One who uses deserves puts herself in authority because only genes and God can decide what you deserve. So, just by the word, you deserve someone to classify you as a lower status to take control over the relationship dynamic. It is manipulation.
How to get rid of the word “deserve.”
Just say, “Do not use the word deserve; we deserve nothing other than air, water, and oxygen, and like you, I have all three.” (Carefully observe that no “please” is used here, as using polite words to the one who is experiencing envy or has a slave mentality may turn the envy into hatred.
Stop, and stop others from using the word “deserve.” NO EXCEPTIONS.
Deserve is a tool for manipulation.
The reason deserve is such an extreme manipulation tool is that you feel good when someone says you deserve it when you get some success, and someone validates that you did not deserve it when there is some failure.
However, this person doesn’t completely ignore the fact that life is a continuous story from your childhood till now. Hence in order to analyze your win or loss, one would have to connect the entire life together. If one goes through such hard work of connecting your life together, then one wouldn’t want to end it with one word.
The problem with the word deserve is that a lazy loser’s brain’s reaction(no response) finds a shortcut to mask one’s envy with a word that has no meaning. Obviously, the speaker has not spent even 10 seconds before uttering the word. Hence just like please and sorry, it is an “English-education” side-effect. Because one is converting your life’s event into one word, one is attaching envy and reaction to your feelings.
Conclusion
Thus the feelings become negative. Because now your brain can’t process “why exactly you deserve or don’t deserve.” Observe the speaker carefully next time you are told this word. Anyone who is saying this word is an envious manipulator.
