A. Pigeonhole Principle
The pigeonhole principle is one of the simplest to understand mathematical models. For anything where the number of outputs is smaller than the number of inputs if the inputs are arranged in groups, at least one combination will have more than one input.
Let’s say there are four birds.
🐤 🐤 🐤 🐤
And, three trees where the birds must sit.
🌴 🌴 🌴
Then at least one tree must have more than one bird.
🐤 🐤 🐤🐤
🌴 🌴 🌴
So, simple and naive. Isn’t it?
However, the catch is that any tree can have more than one bird. So if you are given the three trees, you can never tell which would have had two birds sitting on it.
B. Model Formation
If you construct a mathematical model, then it would be simply
💡”If a problem can be fit in a Pigeonhole principle, then no way you can guess the input from the output.”
Here, Problem=🐤
Solution= 🌴
C. Practical Example: Bursting Marketing Lie of Child Coders
1. Claim: “If your child learns to code at the age of 6, then he will work for Google, or Microsoft”
–Form the problem model—
Google Openings=🌴 🌴 🌴 🌴
Microsoft Openings=🌱 🌱
Non-Openings=🍌 🍌 🍌 🍌 🍌 🍌 🍌 🍌 🍌 🍌 🍌 🍌 🍌 🍌 🍌 🍌
—Apply Pigeonhole Principle—–
Future Employees=🦢🦜🦚🦃🐧🐧🐔🐔🐔🐔🐥🐥🐥🐥🐤🐤🦉🦆🦅🐓
Now try to take one bird(the future employees) and place them one by one on Google Tree, Microsoft Tree, and bananas. Once all the trees are filled, continue with bananas. Then again start placing the birds on the trees.
Even though it is pretty obvious that there are limited positions in the top software companies, and there are hundreds of times more applicants and aspirants, a visual distribution of the claim makes it easy for our brain to perceive what is lie and what is a truth.
D. ✈Improving the Algorithm
(Psychology)
Mathematical illiteracy or fear, an inability to see the world mathematically, or an inability to solve mathematical problems is called “Acalculasia.”
Acalculasia is a disorder of the brain, whereby the number center in the pre-frontal cortex of the brain doesn’t work properly. because this is also the conscious brain, the consciousness doesn’t work properly. One without consciousness only has functional empathy, and not structural, and thus is impulsive, compulsive, and cares nothing but their own feelings. (That’s psychopathy).
A conscious brain will always fit a problem-solution in a pigeonhole, and a low-conscious brain will not fit the problem in a pigeonhole.
💣 Let’s Burst Some of the Marketing Psychopathy
1. If you have low hemoglobin=> Take Iron supplements.
Pigeons: Iron deficiency, hepcidin inhibition, liver cirrhosis, Osteopenia, Sugar++, PKD
Pigeonholes: (Where Hemoglobin is normal):-Iron Supplements, Iron from Animal Sources, Side Effects, Iron Toxicity, Electrolyte Imbalance.
2. If you let silly “mRaNA” in your body, then you will be protected from COnstipation VIRat UniverSe”
Pigeons:- Epstein Barr, Influenza, sars1, tb,
Pigeonholes: Protection against COV, Fanned by TB, Fanned by EB, Fanned by Interferon, Fanned Hyperglobulimia. (We use polite “F” words)
E. Conclusion
Learn Maths, become conscious, classify claims into Pigeonhole principle, and live in normal temperature, or get fanned.
Bonus for parents
1. Practice saying “Skihkke Aao”, rather than “Padhne Baitho.”
2. Focus on finding a life teacher, not a tuition teacher for your children, who has seen enough life, and knows enough maths, to understand the world mathematically.
