Stop Worrying, Start Living

Why not Just Live, Eat, and Drink the Way You Want When the Workplace, Society, and Family Eliminate You After the Age of 60?

A grandmother with spects telling stories to two grand children. In the background the mother and father are seen watching TV on Sofa.

How true and rational is “Life is short, play hard, enjoy, and do whatever you want to do?” Is our life really as short as we think it is? Why live a larger life than a more enjoyable life? How to discover the broader timeline of life?

A. Elimination

By definition, it is a process of removing a subset object from its superset. Because society is part of the family, and family is part of the planet and the planet is part of the universe, one merely moves up to the higher set in life.

B. Traversal

Energy follows a Gaussian distribution, so whom we see around follows the same. A child starts the journey by seeing none but ownself, then mother, then few relatives, then play school and few kids, then school, then workplace, back to few friends, fewer relatives, self, and none.

C. Time-Frame

Let’s assume that a child grows up hearing the stories from his grandfather, who narrates the stories from his grandfather. So the child starts learning the time of 4 generations. When the child becomes older, he would have his grandchild who would say live for 70 years. So one life is a time-frame passage of (4*80+70=390 years).

D. Genetic Memory

As it is been proven now that environment plays a far greater role in shaping life, and stories pass genes, it can be theoretically said that the very consciousness of life is a transmission from one to the next generation.

E. 500-Years of Life

In our family, there is a tradition of writing life and learning and passing the writings to the worthy successor. I got one trunk of documents that started from my 6th ancestor, starting from 1680.

As we read through the document, and live life exactly as directed by the ancestors, we start making sense of the initial teachings, and then observe the rest of our life. So it doesn’t seem I am any different from my great-great-great grandfather who lived long back in history.

When one sees the grandchild as fierce, thoughtful, and observant, taking life and problems head-on, one spiritually realizes that he is going to live through the grandchild. A reflection of us, that eliminates the very fear of death.

F. Continuity

When Romans were to rule in the Latin League some 500 BCE, they invented divide and rule, which their bloodline British used starting from 1500. Both empires bleed in wars. (Nothing changes, just that we are unaware).

G. Conclusion

So, tracing bloodline, traits, family history, tradition, and the life of the ancestors eliminates “I”. Once one spiritually understands there is no I, and I was and will always be there as genes and consciousness, mortality gets eliminated.
