How Much It Costs to Replace Each Organ?

INR 25L for transplant, 2L yearly cost on medicines thereafter. For 60 average years= INR 1.2Cr. So, for replacing your heart, you may have to brush off anything between 2-5 Crore. That is around $700,000.

6. Prothetic LEG Cost
Prosthetic legs= INR 1.2Lakh on average for one leg; for two legs about 2.5Lakh. With Surgery and maintenance costs, you may have to invest between INR 10Lakh to INR 15 Lakh. That comes to around $20,000.

7. Prosthetic HANDS
INR 1.5L per prosthetic hand, 3L in total for both of your hands. That is about $2000.

8. TEETH Dental Implant Cost
Full mouth dental implant cost=INR 0.5L. That is close to $1000.

9. COLON Transplant Cost
Colon transplant cost=INR 30L. If you include all the medications and clinical care you need to take care of the transplanted colon, then your cost will be around INR 1 Cr. That is $150,000.

10. BONES Marrow Transplant Cost
Bone Marrow transplant cost=INR 15L. That is essentially $20,000.

11. Ovary and Penile
Ovary transplant and Penile implants costs are nearly $15,000, and $$8,000 respectively.


12. Pancreas
The organ that is responsible for managing sugar in your body by producing insulin hormone needs a staggering $20,000 for replacement.

13. Brain
